Open Concept delivers user-friendly CMS platforms with high performance, stability and security. Our solutions rely on tried and tested open source software, and we combine the most suitable technologies in collaboration with the customer. We also assist with migration and adaptation of content from existing websites.

Web development

We have considerable experience in systems integration and can connect web solutions to payment providers, weather services, social media, asset management systems and other web services.

CESSDA - Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives

CESSDA is a consortium of 22 member countries promoting quality and dissemination of European social science research. The site has a large amount of original content, training materials, publications, events, news and documents. The working language is English and the site has users from all over Europe as well as worldwide.

The site features a dedicated training section with a searchable database of training resources, including relations to training resource collections and events.

Open Concept has delivered web design and development, graphic design, content consultancy, programming and webhosting.

EASSH - European Alliance for Social Sciences and Humanities

EASSH is the largest advocacy and science policy organisation for the social sciences and humanities in Europe, with over 60 member organisations.

We have delivered a complete web and design solution with updated logo and graphic profile.

You can't stay farther north on the European mainland than at Hotel Nordkyn!

The site is a multilingual solution with emphasis on imagery and easy-to-consume descriptions of facilities and services. It features a local webcam and online booking.

Visit Nordkyn

Tourism information site for the Nordkyn region. The solution makes heavy use of images and galleries to emphasise the contrasts and exotic nature in the region.

Most pages employ galleries and local business have their own profile pages on the site.

Open Concept delivered a complete solution including design, web development, hosting, image selection and editing as well as complete copy in English and Norwegian.

Arctic Coast

Arctic Coast

Arctic Coast is a Norwegian tour operator providing snowmobile and Sami excursions in conjunction with Hurtigruten sailings as well as custom tours.

The website is in four languages, and Open Concept has provided webdesign and development, copywriting in English and Norwegian, translation functions, image editing and hosting.

Kyst og Fjord - fisheries newspaper

Kyst og Fjord - fisheries newspaper

The print and online fisheries newspaper Kyst og Fjord ("Coast and Fjord") was launched in 2011 and is a strong competitor to the fisheries newspaper Fiskeribladet.

Open Concept has delivered webdesign, graphic design, publishing platform, ad network integration (DoubleClick), Facebook integration, ad design and campaign management, programming and support.

In October 2023, we assisted in the migration of the newspaper to the Schibsted platform subsequent to Polaris Media's acquisition of Kyst og Fjord. The paper has retained our graphic profile.

The Story of Nordkinn

The Story of Nordkinn

An easy-to-read and light-hearted introduction for tourists to the history of the Nordkinn region.

The single-page subsite combines background video and images with short texts that emphasise the mystic nature and history of the region.

Open Concept delivered webdesign, image editing, hosting and copywriting in Norwegian and English.

Kystverkmusea (the Coastal Administration Museum)

Kystverkmusea (the Coastal Administration Museum)

Kystverkmusea is the Norwegian Coastal Administration's institutional museum and consists of a network of five regional institutions.

The organisation needed a website that was simple to update by all of its five divisions. The solution was integrated with an asset management system (ResourceSpace) to enable import of media from the Kystreise.no media site. It was also integrated with Facebook and the Digital Museum catalogue.
